Rule 5
Determining the standard of quality of goods or services
: (1) According to sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Act, the quality of any goods or services or. While determining the criteria, the Government of Nepal can take the following basis:-
(A) quality standards determined by international associations, organizations, in relation to such goods or services (b) Quality standards determined by other countries producing such goods or services. (2) According to sub-rule (1), while determining the quality standards of goods or services, as far as possible, the producer of such goods or an expert having technical knowledge related to the same shall be consulted.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), the department shall make public and place the criteria on its website.
